California Dreamin'

Oh Fashion Lovers!

I have been dreaming of warm weather, cool-laid-back-chicks, surfer dudes and Boho-Chic. It's Coachella. That dreamy music festival in Indio, California. If you look at the pictures of some of the fashions, it makes you want to throw on some old Levi jeans, sandals and a fringe leather purse. I know dear readers, me too. I hope to go one day, but for now, I can dream can't I?

Stripe me UP!

Hey, my fellow fashion lovers! My new obsession is stripes. I mean on everything, dresses, pants, jeans, tanks, tees, you name it, and I am there. Some of you may be thinking YIKES I am scared, they may make me look fat. Weirdly enough if worn properly they have the opposite effect, they make you look slimmer. I saw stripes at so many price points, it's hard to pick just one. The pair of pants in my picture are from H & M and they were....wait for it....$12.95. I am in love with them. They can be worn with a pop of color on the shoes, or a blazer. I plan on rocking them again with my pink blazer from Forever 21. So, if you want to try a a classic, try some stripes. Why not?

Pastel Love

Spring:)

I have not wore pastels since high school when they were last in style. Well, they are back and I am thrilled! You can find this trend at every price point!!! Forever 21 or H & M is your best bet! for less than 20 dollars you can get your fix!!! I love when fashion comes back around, bigger and better! Try a pastel TEE, you won't be sorry!

Crop tops were all over the runways for Spring! From Dolce & Gobbana to Prada. If you are feeling like you want to try this trend, put on a bandeau underneath a blazer. I love it! Or, you can get a little corset with a ruffle on the bottom and have it peaking from underneath a cardi! I don't think this trend has an age, you just need a little confidence:)

Rip Her to shreds...

Hey!

Hanging with my 18th-year-old- niece this weekend got me thinking. I am 23 years older than her, but our love for ripped jeans is mutual. They are timeless and work on anyone, any age, if done correctly. The younger crowd can get away with anything. My niece throws on a flannel with hers. If you are older, you have to wear neater, crisper items to counteract the worn look. I love some pumps with a simple tee or tank. Great weekend look.
